Our precious mother and best friend Lenore (Harvey) Butcher Vaughn passed away surrounded by family and embraced in love on Sunday, December 30th 2012.
She was born on November 8th, 1932 at St. Marks Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah to Squire Earl and Henrietta Alice (Nelson) Harvey.
Lenore is the mirror/twin sister to Charlotte (Harvey) Mather and the younger sister to Tom Harvey and half brother Earl.
She was raised in Salt Lake City, Utah and graduated from East High School.
Lenore joined the army and was a private-2 when she met and married Homer Lee Butcher Junior and was married on July 14, 1953. They had three sons together. After their divorce Lenore remarried David Wayne Vaughn on April 9, 1971 and together they had one daughter and later divorced.
