She was born on August 2, 1949. She was preceded in death by her husband and the father of her children, John Sales; her second husband, Richard Spence; parents, John and Annie Hawkins; sisters, Hazel Thomason, Helen McGinnis, and Maude Goforth; and brothers, Claude Hawkins and Billy Ray Hawkins. She is survived by her sons and daughter in law, Dale Sales of Eton, Lail and Telitha Sales of Eton; daughter and son in law, Mira and Greg Witt of Tunnel Hill; sister, Barbara Ann Trimble of Rocky Face; grandchildren, Kristen and Jonathan Cochran, Gregory Witt, Ashley and Abby Sales, Bradley Sales, Jeremiah Sergent, Chandra Sales, Evan Sales, Emma Sales, Destiny, and Michael Stork, Erin Robinson, Colby Alford, Megan, and Nick Walbert; great-grandchildren, Brent, Tyler, Sofie; and special friends, Susan Dyer and Herlene Lowe.
