Lenna Kate Purvis, 73, of Jacksonville, FL, died Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Haven Hospice Care Center of Orange Park, FL. Mrs. Purvis was born on August 26, 1942 in West Jefferson, NC, to the late John Edward Speaks and Stella Mae Dillard Speaks.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Brandon Roghelia, and her granddaughter, Charlotte Cumby Painter.
Mrs. Purvis is survived by her three brothers, John Edwards Speaks (Shelia) of King, NC, Donald Allen Speaks (Donna) of Lexington, NC, and Phillip Wayne Speaks (Patsy) of Germanton, NC.
She was also blessed with five additional grandchildren, Ashley, Kimberly, Amanda Christeen, Amanda Joy and Shelby, along with seven great grandchildren, Trinity, Kelsey, Kenney, Chloe, Donald, Caleb and Colton.
