Lena Mae Smith, age 87, of Alpena, AR passed away January 21, 2016. She was born March 22, 1928 in Bergman, AR, daughter of Clyde Marshall and Hazel (Thompson) Marshall. She graduated from Bergman High School and on February 14, 1946 she was united in marriage with James E. (Junior) Smith.
Lena Mae was employed for Tyson Foods for a number of years.
She is survived by 3 sons, Gary A. Smith and wife Lana of Harrison, Michael J. Smith and wife Earnestine of Harrison, Kevin D. Smith and wife Becky of Alpena, 2 daughters, Kathy Basler and husband Tom of Berryville, Patricia Quick and husband Barry of Conway, 3 brothers, Clyde (Sonny) Marshall of Bergman, James Dale Marshall of Berryville, Olen Marshall of Harrison, sister, Jana Bonstead of Springfield, MO, 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Junior Smith, one son, Danny K. Smith and her parents.
