Lena Gay Dilley Waller, 62, of River Road, Clarksburg, left this mortal life to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 in the United Hospital Center. She was born in Buckhannon on April 7, 1948, a daughter of the late Hoy and Jennie Conrad Dilley. She spent her childhood in Webster Springs, and moved to Clarksburg where she met her lifelong companion and husband, Roger Waller, whom she married May 21, 1965 and whom survives. Also surviving are one son, Roger Scott Waller, Clarksburg; one daughter, Vicki L. Altman and her husband Joseph, Clarksburg; one grandson, Cody Scott Waller, Parkersburg; one granddaughter, Madison Leena Altman; one brother, Marvin “Buck” Dilley, Webster Springs; and several nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Roy, Cope, Johnny and Ham Dilley; and four sisters, Betty Atkins, Irma Farley, Virginia Hamrick, and Nell Fraley. Lena was a member of the Roy E. Parrish Post #13 American legion, and Clarksburg Lodge No. 52 Loyal Order of the Moose. She was Christian by faith, and loved to hear the preachings of her minister, Tom Horne. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved life and was loved by everyone. She will be deeply missed by her family.
