Lelia Marie Guidroz Wise, born into this world on November 19, 1919, Passed into eternal light on April 21, 2015 at Lakeview regional Medical center in Mandeville, LA. Age 95 years. Born in Larose, LA, at 16 she moved to New Orleans. She also lived in Metairie and then in Mandeville, LA. Daughter of the late Firmin Guidroz and Bernadette Arceneaux Guidroz, both of Larose, LA. Sister of the late Louis, Clovis, Edward and Paul Guidroz and the late Amelia Richoux, Melvina Daniel, Mathilde Gray, Amie Guidroz, Clothilde Ducet Terrebonne, Claudia Danos and Leona Allemand. Wife of the late Frank N. Wise of New Orleans. Mother of June W. McKinney (Bob), Cathy W. Guertin (Winston), and Erich P. Wise. Grandmother of James McKinney (Julie), Sean McKinney (Kristi), Katie M. Antunez (Steven), Erica Blackwell, Emily G. Riche (Andrew), Whitney Guertin (Kenny, Fiance’), and the late Darren Blackwell. Great-Grandmother of Annan, Connor, Kyle, Lachlan, and Liam McKinney, Karson Riche and Jolie Jeanfreau. Mrs. Wise was a life-long devoted Christian, wife, mother and grandmother, always there for everyone with the sweetest disposition. She also enjoyed her gardens, sewing, coloring, going to Bingo and eating out with her family and friends. For a number of years she was Room-Mother while her children were in school and helped serve in the St. Joseph School cafeteria. Now Lelia if finally going home!
