She died at 11:50 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, 2006, in Miller’s Merry Manor.
Born Oct. 6, 1912, in Pulaski County, she was the daughter of Mathias and Zella Good Weisenburger. She was married Nov. 25, 1930, in Winamac, to Virgil L. Thompson, who preceded in death Oct. 3, 2003.
Mrs. Thompson had been employed at Olsen’s Department Store and Walgreen’s Drug Store, both in downtown Logansport.
Surviving are three sons, Melvin Thompson and his wife, Janice, Logansport, Ralph Thompson, Marion, and Jerry Thompson and his wife, Earline, Richmond; one daughter, Zella Britton and her husband, Jim, Logansport; one brother, Ike Weisenburger, St. Joseph, Mo.; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Four brothers and three sisters preceded in death.
