Leland Eugene Flory, age 68, passed away at the family farm Tuesday evening, October 20, 2015, peacefully of natural causes. Leland was born in Washington, DC on Feb 28, 1947 to Mariel (Summers) Flory and Eugene Flory; he was the oldest of 5 and played a significant role within the church and throughout the community. He is survived by siblings Clyde, Don, Sharon and Dale, children, grandchildren, and an extensive circle of friends. In addition to running the farm and caring for his family, he never hesitated to volunteer at the church, drive in the parade, or lend a hand to someone in need. His generosity and kind heartedness are surpassed only by his sense of humor; he will be sorely missed by all.
