The son of the late Leonard Eugene Daniel and Zona Celena (Knight) Daniel, Leland was born on November 1, 1949 in Ardmore, Oklahoma and passed away on January 29, 2021 in a Sherman, Texas hospital at the age of 71 years, 2 months and 28 days.
A life-long Ardmore resident, Leland and the former Carolyn Sue Bridgeman were married in 1976. Leland loved cars, especially hot rods. He had worked as a salesman for Auto Zone, O’Reilly’s and Auto Electric car part stores.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Daniel, sons, Carey Lee Daniel and Kenny Bridgeman; sisters, Sylvia Wesley and Peggy Wilson; 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents; son, Leland “Bubba” Daniel, Jr.; infant sister, Elaine Regina Daniel.
