Leland Baggett Patterson, 88, of Greenville, GA (formerly of Forest Park, GA) died on Wednesday, April 06, 2011 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. He was born April 2, 1923 in Atlanta, GA to the late Ernest Patterson & Lucille Parrott Patterson. He served in the United States Army Air Force. He retired from Delta as an airplane mechanic after 32 years of dedicated service. He was a founding charter member of St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church in Forest Park. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Ernest S. Patterson, Jr. Survivors include wife of 58 years, Sybil Livingston Patterson of Newnan; son, Jon Leland Patterson & his wife Kim of Oxford, GA; daughters, Patricia Lynne Mansuy & her husband Paul of New Smyrna Beach, FL, Laura Lucille Neal & her husband Michael of Greenville, GA; Beverly Gayle Gilmer & her husband Charles of Locust Grove, GA; grandchildren, Hanna Patterson, Kara Patterson, Jennifer Cantrell, Stephanie Fretwell, Melodie Hicks, April Bairentine, Michael Neal, Jr, Jessica Patterson, Brandon Gilmer, Crystal Gilmer, Jennifer Gilmer; great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren.
