Lela Mae Sims, 88, of Gardendale, passed away on February 28, 2017. She retired from Bell South and was a great mother, grandmother, and friend to so many. She has gone to be with Jesus and be reunited with her husband. She is preceded in death by her husband, Grover Sims and son, Robert Sims. She is survived by son, Bill Sims, grandchildren, Scott, April, Chris, Blake, Ashley, and great-grandchildren, Ryan, Aiden, Deaglan, Reagan, Mary Brooke, and Olivia Tayler.
