Mrs. Leila P. Millians, age 81, of Newnan passed away Thursday, March 1, 2007. She was born January 28, 1926 to the late Joseph Clarence & Dessa Phillips. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Thomas “Bo” Millians, son, Tommy Millians and beloved friend, Clifford Stephens.
Those left behind to cherish her memory include the daughter of her heart, Shirley Thompson & son-in-law, Woody Thompson; beloved niece, Kathy Gazaway Grubbs & her husband Tim; nephew, Randy Gazaway & his wife Betty, whom she loved as her own. Grandchildren, Jenny & Darrel Adcock, Angie & Rodney Ison, Curt Ivey, Becky Gazaway Turner & her husband Roger, Ryan Grubbs, & Kristin Gazaway. Great-grandchildren, Anna Ison, Kristopher Adcock, Kathryn Adcock, Emilei Ison, Travis Ivey, Thomas Ivey, and God-child, Thomas Cook.
She also acknowledged as her own, Tammy Cash, Rory Thompson, Gig Devine, Mark Stephens, Pat Stephens, Chris Stephens, Kristin Redwine and Matt Redwine. Precious siblings-sisters, Lucille Mapp, Barbara Thompson, brothers-Donald Phillips & his wife Jean, CJ “Jr.” Phillips & his wife Patricia, Mack Phillips & his wife Betty. Sisters-in law, Edna Phillips, Katie Phillips, Barbara Millians, and Patsy Williams & her husband Jerry, plus numerous nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved.
Momo Lee Lee as she was better known was the matriarch of her family and shared her heart with all she met. She taught us so many things through the years, not only with her stories and her wisdom, but also in the way she lived her life. She was a living testimony in showing unconditional love to all. She will always have a special place in the hearts of those she met.
