Leed Joseph Colon, Jr passed away on Friday, February 13, 2015 at the age of 74. He was born in Gramercy, Louisiana to Leed Joseph Colon, Sr and Marie Rome Colon. Leed was the beloved and devoted husband of 53 years to Nathalie Grillo Colon. He was the cherished father and biggest fan of his children Michelle Marie Colon and Marc Andrew Colon, MD, and of his little buddy his Yorkie, PJ. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Adrian Anthony Colon, Sr. He is survived by his brother Malcom J Colon, sister-in-law Jeanne Colon Marinello, his adored nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. Leed was an honored and proud Jesuit High School graduate, United States Marine, and retired chief electrical engineer for NASA’s Space Shuttle Tank Design based out of Martin Marietta’s New Orleans East Facility.
