Lee Maye Voorhees passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at the age of 91.  Lee Maye was born in Ogden, Utah, on December 24, 1930, to Clarence and Irene Paxton.  

She was married to Bernard Voorhees for almost 67 years until his passing in 2015.  Lee Maye is survived by her four children, Bob (Rose) Voorhees; Jim (Denys) Voorhees; Bev (Mike) Black; Becky (Craig) Howard; her brother Bill (Corinne) Paxton, and her beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchild.

Lee Maye was a talented piano and organ player and had many hobbies including sewing blankets and quilts, which she donated to McKay Dee Hospital and Ronald McDonald House.  She was active in the Roy Elks and also the Good Sam Club where she and Bernie created lasting memories traveling the U.S. in their motor home.
