Born in Slidell, Louisiana to Ethel and Charles Fritchie, Sr., Mr. Fritchie moved to New Smyrna Beach from Dallas, Texas 14 years ago. He attended Tulane University and graduated from Mississippi State in 1968. After graduation, Mr. Fritchie had a career with IBM, switched to banking, and went on to create his own computer software company. He sold the company and retired in 1994. After retiring, Mr.
Survivors include his wife, Grace Ann Fritchie, and 2 brothers, Don of Baton Rouge and Charles of New Orleans.
