Lee Edward Bigham, Jr., 75, of Belton passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at his home in Belton.

Lee Ed was born in Bell County on April 22, 1942 to Lee Edward Sr. and Margaret (Montgomery) Bigham. He was raised and attended school in Belton, graduating from Belton High School in 1960. After his father passed away early in Lee Ed’s life, his mother married Earnest Jackson.

Lee Ed served on the Belton Police Department from 1963-1966. In 1966, he began a career as an insurance agent for Life And Casualty Insurance Company until 1980. In 1980, he started his own construction business, Fix-All Construction, and owned the business until his health forced him to retire in 2004. Mr. Bigham married Sandy Wiley on August 3, 1963 at Immanuel Baptist Church in Temple and they were married for almost 54 years before he passed away. Lee Ed was also a longtime member of the Belton Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife Sandy of Belton, daughters Wendy Harcrow and her husband Malcom of Belton, and Tammi Mitchum and her husband Ronnie of Belton, a sister Earline Cloudt and her husband Ray of Waco, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
