Roy LeBron O’Neal, 79, of Burning Bush Community in Ringgold, passed away December 15th after a lengthy illness in Hospice Care Center.

He spent a lot of time at McDonald’s, running errands for UCTV, being a chauffeur – driving his Shih Tzu’s around, napping and watching vintage TV.

His favorite place was with Judy in St. Augustine Beach, Florida.

Survived by his wife of 58 years, Judy Watts O’Neal; Daughter, Dosha Baerwalde (Bob), St. Petersburg, Fl., Son Justin O’Neal (Jamie), Ringgold, Grandchildren Connor O’Neal and Chandler O’Neal, Whitwell, Tn., Kortney Vibelius and Brittany Edmiston of St. Petersburg, Fl., Casey Kearney, Ringgold. Great-Grandchildren Abigail and Andy Kearney, Ringgold. Sister, Sybil Baker (Johnny), Chickamauga.

Preceded in death by parents Frank and Ruby O’Neal, sister Minnie Lewis, and brother John F. (Buster) O’Neal.

Lebron leaves behind his best buddy Bandit, a Shih Tzu, they never left each other’s side, along with Buster, Ruby, Hershey, and Lulu, the other four Shih Tzu’s who loved him and will miss his tender loving care.

The family wishes to thank Gentiva Home Health Care Nurse Winnie Schmidt, and Hospice Nurse Hannah Morrell for their dedicated care, as well as the staff at Hospice of Chattanooga who did so much to make Lebron and the family comfortable.

Thanks also to Cindy Bullard and Candy Shipp for their extended care while he was at home with hospice.
