Leah Janelle Lindquist, age 57, of York, Nebraska, formerly of Stromsburg, passed away March 30, 2023 at her home in York.
Leah was born December 5, 1965 to Stephen Floyd Lindquist and Marilyn Jean (Nyffeler) Lindquist in Osceola, Nebraska. She attended school in Stromsburg and graduated from Stromsburg High School in 1984. Leah worked at the Midwest Covenant Home in Stromsburg. She lived in Stromsburg most of her life before moving to York a few years ago.
She attended the Stromsburg Baptist Church.
She enjoyed working on puzzles and watching TV.
Survivors include her father Steve (Shirley) Lindquist of Stromsburg; brother Craig (Brenda) Lindquist of Stromsburg; brother Kevin Lindquist of Lincoln; step-sister Stacey (Sam) Wilgocki of Columbus; niece Alicia (Brody) Newquist of York; nephews Aaron Lindquist of Stromsburg, Cody (Amanda) Bower and AJ (Ashley) Bower; many great nephews and nieces and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother Marilyn Lindquist; grandparents Floyd and Fern Lindquist and Ray and Lois Nyffeler.
