Leah D. (Wombles) Beaty, 47, of Muncie, passed away suddenly following injuries sustained in a car accident on Tuesday, May 20, 2014. She was born in Wabash, Indiana on September 27, 1966. Leah was a loving wife, mother, mamaw, daughter, sister, niece and friend. Overly generous and loving, Leah lived her far too short life with hope, enthusiasm and an open heart.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Beaty, Muncie, three sons, Brandon Bennett (wife: Annie), Lafayette; Shea Showalter, Muncie; Joe Journay, Yorktown; her mother, Patricia (Williams) Marsh; a sister, Jerri Redwine Goodman (husband: Ron) Carmel; four grandchildren, Aiden Kidd, Makenzie, Brenna and Avery Bennett; three stepchildren; Tina McQuirt and Tim and Butch Beaty; nephews, Grant and Garrett Goodman; and her aunt, Gale Skinner Simmons.
She was preceded in death by her father, Alfred Wombles and her grandparents.
