Layton Joshua Birkbeck-Gilmour, 22 month old son of Hanna Leigh Gilmour and Jacob Wright Birkbeck passed away unexpectedly on Monday November 21st, 2022.
Born on January 2, 2021 he arrived 10 weeks early weighing under 2 pounds. He faced many challenges his 1st year but our tiny and mighty warrior persevered. He was “our Voiceless Boy who changed the World without one Word.”
Besides his parents, Layton is survived by his big sister Lyla, his maternal grandparents, Mike and Joan Gilmour, his paternal grandmother Jennifer Birkbeck, one aunt Laurin Gilmour, 3 Uncles, Andrew, Alex(Courtney), Zach(Jane), and several cousins. He is preceded in death by his uncle Joshua Gilmour.
