Lawrence G. Shirley Sr., 81, Indianapolis, died April 21, 2013. He is survived by his wife Bessie A. Skaggs Shirley; sons Lawrence (Vicky) Shirley, Jr. of Bargersville, Mark Shirley of Indianapolis, Stephen Shirley of Greenwood, and John (Sue) Brinkman of Greenwood; daughter Karen (Samer Lawand) Brinkman of Avon; 12 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and sister Sandra (Kenneth) Hewitt of Mooresville. He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Helen Collins Shirley and son Donald Shirley.
