Lawrence R. Jursch, age 97 of Fairfield, beloved husband of the late Beatrice Jursch, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in the Bronx, NY on October 22, 1917 the son of the late Louis and Madeline Jursch, he was raised in the Bronx and had been a Fairfield resident since 1949. He met and married his devoted wife Beatrice in 1941 and served as a New York City policeman from 1942 to 1946.
