Larry was a proud Native American Veteran who served in the US Air Force from 1963 to 1983, serving 2 tours in Vietnam and extended tours in Okinawa and Germany. His state side assignments included Kessler AFB MS, Shaw AFB SC and Pope AFB NC where he retired. Larry as a civilian came to work at Hurlburt Field in 1985 as a Computer Operator/Scheduler with the 834th Supply Squadron. He eventually transferred to Eglin AFB Medical Group as a Computer Technician until his retirement in March 2012. Larry was known for his sense of humor, dedication to his work, family, friends and the love of his dogs. He was also a proud member of the Native American Honor Guard established by the Thunderbird Council at Eglin AFB.

He will be terribly missed by his family, special friends and companions; Bob Campbell, Janet Hayes, ex-wife Andrea Crawford and all who knew him. He is survived by his 2 babies, Gidget and Sophia; son, Raymond; grandson, TJ of Jacksonville, FL; brothers, Kenneth of Oak Ridge, TN, Randall May of Birmingham, AL; sister, Tricia Perkins Baker of Middleboro, MA; aunt, Ms. Francis Parker of Talladega, AL; plus many other close friends and extended family.
