He was the son of Anthony F. and Eulalia B. (Cramer) McCann. Larry married Mary Ann Eaton on March 17, 1962 in Abingdon. They later divorced.

Larry is survived by the love of his life, Rita Gravis, Altona; two sons, Anthony (Jeanie) McCann of Altona, and William (Jean) McCann of Montreal; two daughters, Teresa (Ray) Tucker of Oneida and Linda (Tony) Logan of Oak Run; two step-daughters, Tonia (Tony) Wright and Terri Link, both of Florida; a brother, Joseph (Janet) McCann of Oquawka; a sister, Mary (David) Hoffman of Kankakee; nineteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way.

He was a 3rd Degree Member for the Monmouth Knights of Columbus, a member of the Abingdon Boat Club, and an Auxiliary Police Officer for the Warren County Sheriff’s Department.

One of his favorite hobbies was fishing. He loved to tell “tall fishing tales,” was always a jokester and quick witted with a quip. He leaves behind his four-legged pals Gabby, Bentley, and his special pal, Digger. He was a fan of Dale Earnhardt and Earnhardt, Jr; and above all, he was an AVID fan of the St. Louis Cardinals.
