Lawrence LeRoy Tarr

Lawrence LeRoy (Larry) Tarr, passed away at the Palisade Living Center on June 15, 2016 at the age of 86 of cancer. Larry was born in Jasper County, Illinois to John and Winnifred (Davis) Tarr. He was the oldest of five children. He grew up on the family farm, working until he was drafted into the Army during the Korean War.
His first marriage ended in divorce. He then married Loretta Meindl on January 18, 1989. She survives him. Larry was an avid fly tier and fly fisherman.
He is preceded in death by his borther Bill Tarr, parents John and Winnifred Tarr, and his beloved dog, Aggie. He is survived by his wife Loretta Tarr, brother Lloyd Tarr, and sisters Louise Kremer and Jean Kibler, all of Illinois.
