Lawrence was instrumental in many businesses, starting with Fleckinger Refuse in 1967 and then selling that business in 1983. Although he loved Fleckinger Refuse, his love for LF Bar Ranch, working cattle, his cattle dogs and horses as well as all the people that were always there to provide a helping hand is well known to be the business he loved the most. Diamondback Airboats and Diamondback America were the last of his businesses he helped establish with his son Bobby V. Fleckinger and wife Frances C. Fleckinger.
