Lawrence (Larry) Perry, 65, of Iona, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, July 5th, 2020, in Idaho Falls at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Larry was born in Garden City, Michigan, to Raymond and Betty Perry on August 6th, 1954.

Larry served as a Tech Sergeant in the United States Air Force for 19 years before retiring with his family in Idaho.

He loved to fish and strum his guitar. In his later years, Larry found Facebook and YouTube, which he used to create interesting and creative conversations.

He had a special talent when it came to automotive mechanics. Larry always had grease somewhere on his hands and could diagnose a problem just by listening.

Larry also loved to love. He wasn’t an easy man to figure out, but once he let you in, he had more than enough heart to spare. He showed his love in funny ways sometimes, but that kept him true to himself. He was and is deeply cared for and missed.

Larry is survived by his beloved wife, Tami; and his children Angela (Jason), Brandy (Henry), Jennessa, Jeremiah (TrisAnn), and Helen(Chris). He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren, one great grandchild and his best pup, Custer.

He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond; mother, Betty; and two brothers, John and Paul.
