Born in Anderson, Indiana, to Lawrence B. and Meredith June Brubaker Hogan, Larry moved to this area in 1992 from Cincinnati, Ohio. Lawrence served in the United States Army in the Philippines and the Japan Occupation during WWII.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Patricia Brockway Hogan; a son, Robert Michael Hogan and his wife Kelly Gates of Batavia, Ohio; a brother, Jimmy Dean Hogan and his wife Charlotte of Ormond Beach; 2 sister-in-laws, Shirley Anne Brockway Grim and her husband Oris of Deland and Juanita Hogan of Memphis, Tennessee; 2 grandsons, Scott Anthony Sparks of Milford, Ohio and Robert Michael Hogan of Batavia, Ohio; 2 granddaughters, Heather Merideth Hogan and Kandace Marie Clark, both of Batavia, Ohio; a great grandson, Jude Anthony Sparks of Milford, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lawrence was predeceased by his parents; a daughter, Judith Anne Hogan Sparks; and his brother, James L. Hogan
