Lawrence Joseph Hornyak, age 80, of Summerfield, FL, formerly a longtime resident of Milford, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 15, 2015. The son of the late Ann Hornyak Taylor, he was born on August 17, 1934 in Stratford, CT. Lawrence served with great pride and honor in the US Navy during the Korean War. He will always be remembered for his beautiful joyful spirit, his love of dancing and casinos, and his many excellent hands at poker. Lawrence is survived by his children Daniel Hornyak and Ann Benway, and his grandchildren Erica and Robert Benway. He is also survived by his special angel and caregiver Michele Polyak.
