Larry spent his early years after graduation from Norwich Regional Technical High School living and working in the Montville, Connecticut area for Davis Standard and Faria Corporation. Larry later moved back “up North” to St. Albans, Vermont as an Engineer for Energizer Battery. In 2008 Larry retired from Energizer and moved back to Florida.
Larry spent his life “living on the edge” and experiencing every outdoor sport there was. He was a professional drag racer early in his life and spent many years motorcycle riding, hunting, fishing, boating, snow skiing, and snow mobiling.
Larry was predeceased by his parents, Phillip and Helen Grandchamp of Montville, Connecticut. He is survived by his sister Judy (Rick) Cabaniss of Rockledge, Florida; cousins and best friends David (Kathy) and Tony (Cindy) Pickowitz of Quaker Hill, Connecticut and Cape Cod, Massachusetts; and several other cousins, aunts and uncles.
