Larry George Ruud, 67, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at the Whitefish Rehabilitation and Care Center in Whitefish, Montana. He was born on December 12, 1941 in Wahpeton, North Dakota to George and Edith (Leinum) Ruud.
Larry worked for Olaf Anderson in Fargo, North Dakota from 1967 to 1972 then moved to California in 1973. He worked in Commercial and Industrial Construction. After retiring he moved to Kalispell, Montana.
Larry was preceded in death by his father, and one son, Bruce Ruud. He is survived by two sons: David Ruud and Dan (Dori) Ruud all of Kalispell, MT; his mother, Edith Ruud of San Jose, CA; six sisters, Carolyn Wyum (Al) of Sunnyvale, CA, Linda Liebelt (Robert) of Oxbow, ND, Judy Cusey of Fargo, ND, Jeanette Schaeffer (Rick) of Bismarck, ND, Rebecca King (Brad) of Fargo, ND, and Deborah Lenius (Larry) of Moorehead, MN, two brothers, James Ruud (Pam) and Richard Ruud all of San Jose, CA, and a special friend, Barbara Young of Kalispell, MT. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Matthew, Gavin and Garrett.
