Lawrence E. Frank, 68, of Dyer, Indiana died Wednesday, September 7, 2005 in Washtenaw County, Michigan as the result of an automobile accident.

Lawrence was born July 8, 1937, in Chicago, to Ernie and Marie (Blecha) Frank, later moving to South Bend, Indiana. He graduated from St. Joseph High School in South Bend. Larry served his country in the US Army, stationed in Germany. He was employed by Butternut Bread Company, first as a driver loading trucks and retired 42 years later as plant sales manager. On June 22, 1981, he married Darlene (Layman) Kaiser in Las Vegas, NV. They made their home in Dyer, Indiana. Larry was an avid golfer and a fan of Notre Dame football. He enjoyed traveling and loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Darlene; sons, Lawrence A. (Teresa) Frank of Indianapolis; Robert A. (Kerry) Frank of Granger, IN and James A. (Theresa) Frank of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Adam, Holland, Breck, Sariah, Faith, Cooper, Hope and Alexandria; stepsons, Gregory (Vickie) Kaiser of Lakeside, Michigan and Daniel (Michele) Kaiser of Stevensville, Michigan; step-grandchildren, Casey, Austin and Morgan; sister, Joanne (Richard) Gutierrez, Phoenix,Arizona and brother, Gary Frank of Granger, Indiana.
