Lawrence Foxx Jr., a native and resident of the Gainestown community, made his earthly transition on Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2020. Born on Oct. 30, 1969 to Lawrence Foxx Sr. and Cleveria Hunt Taylor; Lawrence was 50 years of age. Early in life, Lawrence was a member of Antioch AME Church, later he united with Gainestown AOH Church.
He enjoyed cooking for his family and was also a talented artist. He loved spending time with his family and was an avid Alabama fan.
Preceding him in death were his parents; brothers, Mark Anthony Foxx and Terry Arthur Foxx; and sister-in-law, Karen Foxx.
Left to cherish his loving memories are his loving wife, Millicent Robinson Foxx of Gainestown; his son, Antonio Foxx; two stepchildren, Jacolby Robinson and LaTeedra Robinson; step-grandchild, Caiden Peoples, all of Gainestown; four brothers, Dewayne Foxx of Jackson, Finley Foxx of Gainestown, Jessie Ray Foxx of Dothan and Eric Foxx of Grove Hill; four sisters, Donna Foxx-Scott of Tuscaloosa, Carol Foxx-Ballard of Centerpoint, Ora (William) Young of Grove Hill and Felicia (Billy Joe) Williams of Gainestown; devoted aunt, Christine Robinson of Gainestown; with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and devoted friends, Min. Freddie Howard and Min. Ted Watkins.
