Lawrence Eugene Whited, 71 of Centralia, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia.
Lawrence was born January 3, 1943 in Baltimore, Maryland, son of Lawrence J. Whited and Josie (Washer) Whited. He married Beverly Bozarth on June 12, 1986 and she survives in Centralia.
In addition to his wife of 27 years, he is also survived by two sons, Gene Whited of Centralia and Michael Whited and wife Sara of Odin; three step-sons: Anthony Stinde of Centralia, Neal Stinde of Texas and Daniel Stinde of Centralia; two step-daughters: Dee Dee Stinde of Ashley and Tina Stinde of Salem; nine grandchildren: Tracy, Jason, Brittany, Kelsey, Chase, Sam, Josie, Rachel and Leana; two great-grandchildren; two sisters: Ruth Ann Johnson and husband Donald of Bowling Brook, Illinois and Brenda Ness of Cottonwood, CA; a close friend, Joan Blackwell.
He was preceded in death by his parents.Lawrence worked as a custodian at Centralia High School and later retired. He served in the United States Army. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
