Lawrence E. Pilch, 90, of Grace Meadows, Southbury, died Friday, March 19, 2010 at the River Glen Health Care Center in Southbury, after a brief illness. He was the widower of Elsie Pilch. Mr. Pilch was born April 13, 1919 in Dover Plains, NY, a son of the late Albert Pilch and Mabel (Roberson) Pilch-Trautman-Ahders. Prior to his retirement, he worked for Safeguard Manufacturing and Panelbar of Woodbury for many years. He enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, reading, watching old western movies and Yankee baseball.
