Lawrence Couchot, 84
West Sand Lake Lawrence Couchot, 84, died Thursday at Van Rensselaer Manor North Greenbush.
He was son of the late Lawrence E. and Lillian Clark Couchot and husband for 58 years of Katharine Leckonby Couchot. He was a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, class of 1951 as a chemical engineer. He was a pilot during World War II in the Army Air Corp, flying missions in the European theatre of operations.
He was predeceased by a son, Stephen R. Couchot and Constance Ann Couchot. Survivors in addition to his wife include two sisters, Marian Safford of Loudonville and Martha Leckonby (George) of West Sand Lake and a brother Richard Couchot of Clayton, CA.
