She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching her Chicago Cubs play. She was also a bit of a golfer and was very proud of the fact that she shot a hole-in-one at the old “Old Orchard” golf course in Elkhart. She enjoyed sewing, woodworking and arranging flowers.
