LaVon Richard Anderson, 78, of DuBois, Nebraska passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2014 in Pawnee City, Nebraska. He was born on April 14, 1936 to Harry F. and Mary L.(Younker) Anderson in rural Pawnee County, Nebraska.
LaVon was born near Summerfield, Kansas in rural Pawnee County. At age 5 his family moved to Du Bois, Where LaVon has been a life long resident except for his time he served his country in the United Sates Army 1959-1961.
LaVon attended school at Du Bois, Nebraska. LaVon worked for Bob Moser for 29 years. LaVon had other odd jobs and worked for the village of Du Bois for 5 years.
LaVon enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, infant brother Floyd, four brothers, Don, Bob, Kenneth and Marvin Anderson, three sisters, Cindy Anderson, Ruby Brown, Opal Perdew.
LaVon is survived by his brother Gene Anderson of Topeka, KS, sister-in-laws, Phyllis Anderson of Beatrice,NE, Helen Anderson of Pawnee City, NE, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
