LaVern Metzger of Clovis, NM, born January 16, 1937, passed away on February 4th, 2023. He was the son of Clifton and Lydia (Wegner) Metzger from Bancroft, Nebraska.
He was preceded in death by his wives Lois (Koehler) Metzger (1957 – 2004) and Norma (Aucoin) Metzger (2011 – 2018). He is survived by his seven children: Darla (Jim) Gremel, Fran (Robert) Barclay, Linda (Alan) Kinzer, Rebecca (Phil)Hesterman, Jacki (Dan) McCurley, Connie (Larry) Jones, and Robert Metzger. Additionally, by his sister Myra Tietze and brothers Kenneth, Lyle, and Marvin Metzger. He also had 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
