Mrs. Lavern McClellan, 94, of Louisville, KY passed away on June 17, 2016. She was born on January 20, 1922 to the late Earlie and Fannie Hornsby. She worked as an Insurance Claim Adjuster, was a devoted member of Huffman Baptist Church, and an avid gardener. She is preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Chester McClellan, parents, 4 brothers, and 2 sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Gloria (Tommy) Smith, grandsons, Jason Smith and Loren Smith, and 4 great-grandchildren.
