LaVern E. “Bud” Harbour, 90, of South Jacksonville, IL died November 13, 2009 at the Barton W. Stone Home in Jacksonville.
He was born July 21, 1919 in Waverly, IL; the son of Ellis and Ruby Bryan Harbour. He married Mary E. Adkins on May 17, 1944 in Jacksonville, IL and she preceded him in death on November 4, 1994.
He is survived by a son, John Harbour of South Jacksonville; a sister, Marcella Bogardt of Jacksonville; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Marjorie Frost.
Mr. Harbour was employed in the maintenance department of Mac Murray College as supervisor of the carpentry and paint shop for 54 years prior to his retirement.
