BRIGHAM CITY – Laurie Jeanett Scothern 51, our mother, nana, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, passed away Friday, April 29, 2016 at her home.
Laurie was born on October 18, 1964 in Brigham City, Utah a daughter of Shirley Dalene Jeppson and Duane William Scothern.
She married Michael John Compton on November 13, 1981 they were later sealed in the Ogden Temple, together they had five children. Michael passed away February 4, 1992. Laurie married Lynn McMullin on September 15, 1992 and blended two more boys into her family, later they had twins, which completed her family; they later divorced.
Laurie currently was working as a medical assistant. She was a very talented person, determined to find a way to accomplish her many projects.
Laurie had a big heart and had the unique ability to love unconditionally and accept all without judgement.
