We are heartbroken in announcing the passing of Laurie Beth [Condon] Hodges on December 6, 2015. She passed while surrounded by family and loved ones after a courageous 4 year battle with cancer. Loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend and teacher. She spent her life serving others and always putting others needs ahead of hers even as she faced a long uphill battle fighting her cancer in order to make lasting memories with her family. Laurie was born and raised in Georgetown, MA where she excelled on the athletic field and in the classroom. She went on to continue excelling in the classroom at Gordon College in Wenham, MA and as a two-sport athlete in soccer and basketball. Gordon is where she would meet her future husband Ben. Laurie was a passionate, energetic and empathetic middle school math teacher at Doherty Middle School in Andover where she retired in 2013 to focus on her treatment and family.
