Laurette Atkinson McKercher, age 73, of Greensboro, GA died Friday, March 23, 2018. Born in Hackensack, NJ, on March 12, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Clifton B. Atkinson and Mary Antoinette Huesch Atkinson. She was awarded a Bachelors degree from Paterson State College in New Jersey in 1967 where she was a member of the honor society, Kappa Delta Pi.
Survivors in addition to her husband of forty-nine years, Frank McKercher of Greensboro, GA include a daughter, Maureen McKercher of Athens, GA; a son, Scott McKercher of Sunbury, PA; a foster son, Andrew Rogers of Eatonton, GA; grand children, Zoey Morey of Athens, GA, Eli McKercher of Sunbury, PA and Addison Milhein of Mifflinburg, PA; brothers, Brian P. Atkinson of Whitmore Lake, MI and Roy H. Atkinson of Lyman, SC; other relatives and many friends.
