A lifelong Dallas resident, Lauretta Collette, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2012.
She is survived by a daughter Cathy Collette; son Joe Collette and wife Sue; grandsons Andrew Collette and Aaron Collette; several nephews and nieces; and close friend Jess Reed. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Joe Collette Sr. and her sisters Josephine Fertitta of Dallas and Phyllis Haynes of Lubbock.
She devoted her life to her family and to her community as a volunteer at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas for 38 years. She was a great cook, and enjoyed playing cards with family and friends.
