Larry Adcock passed away at his home in Navarre, FL on Wednesday, Dec 7, 2022, after a fight with Frontotemporal Dementia and ALS. Born April 9, 1965, to Jean E. and L. Murphy Adcock, Larry spent much of his young life traveling to various military stations around the world with his parents and his brother, Chuck. At age eighteen Larry settled in LaGrange, Georgia, where he attended West Georgia Tech and obtained his certification in CAD design.
A man with many interests, Larry spent his twenties and thirties exploring various jobs and enjoying time with dear friends and family. It was in his late thirties that Larry reconnected with his childhood sweetheart, Elin, and moved to Garland, Texas to marry her. He took to heart his role as a stepfather to Elin’s children, Zachary and Elijah, acting as a scout leader, soccer coach, and role model in their younger years. They eventually bore a son together, Gabriel, and spent ten wonderful years in TX.
Larry was preceded in death by his mother, Jean, and his aunt, Florence. Survived by his wife and children, his father, his stepmother Suk, his brother, sisters-in-law, Laurie, Amy, and Julie, as well as his aunt and uncle Myrtice and Millard Adcock and cousins Tweedie and Wanda. Kind, encouraging, and loving to all he knew, Larry will be best remembered for lifting the spirits of all who met him.
