Lauren Lee Unruh, the oldest son of D. Eugene and Salome Unruh, was born on June 12, 1954 at Roseburg, Oregon. He peacefully departed this life April 12, 2017 at his home in Parma, Idaho after a courageous battle with cancer. Lauren’s preadolescent years were spent with his parents and siblings in central Kansas. Here he enjoyed the farming lifestyle. In his early teen years he moved to the foothills of Northern California. He loved the mountains and was employed in the logging industry for many years. During those years he forged many lifelong friendships. Lauren accepted the Lord as his personal Savior at twelve years of age.
