Laureano “Larry” Harrison, of Mountaindale, passed away on October 1, 2022.  He was 79 years old.

Larry, also affectionately known as Lero, was born on April 22, 1943 in Camuy, Puerto Rico to Catalino Harrison and Monsrate Hernandez.  He was a talented builder, a “jack of all trades” who could build anything from beautiful homes to expansive gardens. He had an eye for seeing the potential in something and could bring it to life, using his gifts for a successful career in the construction industry. He had a quick wit, was a jokester, and would be quiet until he had something to say and then everyone would stop to listen.  He enjoyed music and recently discovered Facebook and YouTube.  He adored his family, especially his grandchildren.

Lero leaves behind his loving wife, Vitalia “Vicky” Rosado; his children, Barbara Harrison, Ismael Berrios, and Richard Harrison Soler; his grandchildren, Arye Gittleman, Richard, Aaron and Samantha Castro; and Benjamin, Timothy “Timo”, Lauren, and Moriah Berrios; several great-grandchildren, and his siblings, Carlos, Rosa, Alma, Ida, Carmen Pura Harrison. He is predeceased by his daughter, Maria Elena Castro, known as “Helen,” and his son-in-law, Samuel Castro.
