Laura W. Goodson, of Livingston Manor, passed away peacefully at the age of 100 on March 15, 2022 at Roscoe Regional Health Care.
She was the daughter of the late Karol Wrobel and Anna (Papierz) Wrobel. Laura was born on November 23, 1921 in Shadyside, OH and was the last born of 8 children. All of her siblings are pre-deceased.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Walter; daughter Lori (Richard) Zarandona; Grandchildren Jessica (Robert) Guarraci, Stephen Zarandona, David (Michelle) Bolinski, Bobby (Shelly) Bolinski, Christopher (Nikki) Bolinski and several great-grandchildren. Her son, Chet (Donna) Bolinski is pre-deceased.
Laura grew up on her family’s dairy farm in upstate New York and later worked for many years as a bank teller at The Bank of Utica before retiring and moving to Connecticut.
She loved her family, many pets, and friends. Those close to her knew these were her priorities.
