Laura (Kennedy) Schwartzbach, 79, of Ottawa, passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at the Ottawa Pavilion. Laura was born on August 1, 1942 in Ottawa to John and Helen (Warren) Kennedy.
She was a graduate of Serena High School. Laura married Lawrence “Larry” J. Schwartzbach, Jr. in August of 1963. She loved to travel and her favorite places to visit were Hawaii or anywhere that had the ocean. Laura also had a lifelong love of German Shepherd dogs.
She is survived by a son Lawrence John (Margina) Schwartzbach of West Brooklyn, IL; two daughters, Michaela Hall of Ottawa and Danielle (Richard) Scaman of Newark; five grandchildren, Caitlin (Tate) Hozie, Kiersten Hall, Tanner (Chelsea) Schwartzbach, Beth Barstaitis, and Melissa Calhan; two great grandchildren, Quinn and Reese Hozie; and two sisters Mary Ann McNeese and Kay Conkey.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Larry, In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family to be designated at a later date
